Naritasan Shinshoji, which is a major Shingon Buddhist temple, is one of the largest Buddhist temples in Eastern Japan. Since it managed to avoid being destroyed in WWII, it has many traditional buildings and a large Japanese stroll garden.

Boso-no-Mura Museum is a large open-air museum mainly displaying reconstructions of feudal-era houses of Chiba prefecture. This facility is located in an area many Kofun tomb mounds of 6th to 7th century concentrates, 78 of them surrounding this museum.
